Getting Started with Leadbehavior

This guide walks you through setting up Leadbehavior from scratch — creating your account, configuring your first lead, installing the tag, and seeing results.

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Visit app.leadbehavior.com and sign up with your email address
  2. After signing in, you'll be prompted to create an account
  3. Enter your Account Name and Domain (your website URL)

Step 2: Choose a Plan

After creating your account, you'll be directed to the billing page to select a plan.

Each scored lead consumes one credit. See Pricing & Credits for details.

Which plan should I choose?

Start with Starter if you only need website lead scoring with Google Ads. Choose Business if you need Meta integration, negative adjustment values, or custom score thresholds.

Step 3: Connect Your Ad Platform

  1. Go to AccountGoogle Ads
  2. Click Connect To Google Ads and authorize with your Google account
  3. Select your Manager Account ID and Account ID
  4. Click Set Customer IDs

Meta (Optional — Business Plan)

  1. Go to AccountMeta Connector
  2. Click Connect To Meta and authorize with your Meta account
  3. Select the Meta Page you want to connect

Step 4: Create Your First Lead

  1. Navigate to Leads
  2. Click Create Lead
  3. Enter a Lead Name (e.g., "Contact Form Submissions")
  4. Select Website as the lead type
  5. Select a Google Ads Conversion Action from the dropdown (WEBPAGE type only)
  6. Set your Currency Code and Positive Adjustment Value
  7. Click Create Lead

Step 5: Install the Tag on Your Website

The easiest way to install Leadbehavior is with the Google Tag Manager template:

  1. In GTM, go to TemplatesSearch Gallery
  2. Search for "Leadbehavior" and add the template
  3. Create a new tag using the template
  4. Enter your Account ID and Lead ID (found on your lead's page)
  5. Set an Order ID — a unique value for each conversion
  6. Add a trigger (e.g., form submission, thank-you page view)
  7. Preview, test, and publish

Step 6: See Your Results

Once leads start flowing in, you can view your data on each lead's dashboard:

  • Usage and Bot Removals — Daily lead counts and bots removed for Google Ads and Meta
  • Score Bucket Trends — Distribution of lead quality scores over time

Navigate to Leads → click on a lead to view its dashboard. Allow up to 24 hours for conversion adjustments to appear in Google Ads.
